PokerBaazi onboards poker star Pratibha Arya as Baazi Gaming Pro

Ace poker player Pratibha Arya has been roped in as Baazi Gaming Pro by PokerBaazi. Pratibha shot to fame when she finished10th in the recently concluded mega online poker tournament organized by PokerBaazi.com, Baazi Games’ flagship poker platform.

Pratibha’s appointment as Baazi Gaming Pro will pave the way for aspiring women players in the indie mind sport and her team qualifying for the Nations Cup 2021 planned in Europe later this year vindicates that notion.


According to a CNBC-TV18 report, Pratibha left her job as a techie and followed her passion. Learning the intricacies of the game, Pratibha honed her skills to keep winning the matches.

Swimming against the tide of odds and stereotypes, her success has helped her win an outpouring of support and patronage. In a game that is dominated by men, Pratibha has emerged to be a rare star that has made the country proud in the global arena by playing at Poker Nations Cup in Oxford and IFMP Asian Nations Cup in Bankok. She also won a WPT trophy in WPT 6-Max India Championship.

Notably, she was one of the Indian players who played against DeepStack, the Artificial Intelligence computer bot in Bangkok, and became the Player of the League in the 2nd season of Match IPL. Most recently she placed 3rd in the High Roller tournament of the National Poker Series, India’s first-ever gold medal series hosted on pokerbaazi.com.
