IGL launches HeftyNFT, acquires two new gaming verticals

House of Gaming (the parent entity of IGL – Indian Gaming League) is out with two new verticals, HeftyNFT and GameGods, that is all set to give a leg up to the esports ecosystem IGL founder and CEO Yash Pariani announced it on his official LinkedIn ID.

The wave of NFT and blockchain seems to be engulfing the planet progressively with heavy investments being pumped in these sectors. Recently Global Esports had also revealed that they are launching NFT Collection.

“Excited to announce that House of Gaming (the parent entity of IGL – Indian Gaming League) has launched two new verticals that will accelerate the Esports ecosystem. While IGL is a competitive esports platform, today we take our first steps towards being a metaverse company. Introducing HeftyNFT. Leveraging of the technology of blockchain, Hefty NFT will be creating exclusive digital collectibles in the realms of Esports and Gaming, with some exciting partnerships that will be announced soon. We also went a step further and acquired a renowned international social network exclusively for Gamers. I’d like to announce that GameGods will be the gamers choice of social networking. GameGods and HeftyNFT will be live this November, looking forward to sharing with you more details about this soon,” Pariani said in a LinkedIn post.

The esports company is steadily veering into the metaverse universe with the launch of HeftyNFT.

“Leveraging off the technology of blockchain, HeftyNFT will be creating exclusive digital collectibles in the realms of Esports and Gaming, with some exciting partnerships that will be announced soon,” he further added.

Pariani also revealed that they have acquired gamers’ social network ‘GameGods’. The official post reads, “We also went a step further and acquired a renowned international social network exclusively for Gamers. I’d like to announce that GameGods will be the gamers’ choice of social networking.”

With the rise of blockchain technology and its myriad applications, there could very well be what appears to be a paradigm shift in the overall gaming sector, especially esports.
