The Bombay High Court today heard the bail applications of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha in the cruise ship drug case. Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan is behind the bars for more than 20 days now in an alleged drug case. The petitions were listed before Justice Nitin W Sambre.

Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi appeared for Aryan Khan who argued that there was no recovery of contraband or proof of consumption by Aryan Khan in the cruise ship drug case. The narcotics bureau had claimed that Aachit Kumar who is named as the A-17 in the case was Aryan Khan’s illicit drugs supplier. Aachit Kumar was arrested a few days earlier and is currently in judicial custody.

Senior Advocate Amit Desai who was also appearing for Aryan Khan, argued, “Aachit is also a young college kid. He was the person with whom Aryan was playing poker. And the chats were before 12- 14 months and that is being cited in the WhatsApp…There was nothing beyond communication about Poker.”
