
All India Gaming Federation, the apex self-regulatory gaming body is all set to host the “AIGF Knowledge Series” with the first leg focussing on Meghalaya. Hon’ble CM of Meghalaya, Shri Conrad Sangma will grace the occasion with his presence as the Chief Guest and will deliver the inaugural address for the event. The event will be a virtual event scheduled on 7 and 8 April 2022.
Other dignitaries include Minister Shri, James Sangma and key bureaucrats who have an integral role to play in the state-industry interaction. The main objective of the AIGF “AIGF Knowledge Series” events is to begin a series of insightful and riveting discussions about the opportunities and challenges in this lucrative industry in collaboration with key states for greater outreach and awareness.
Meghalaya recently became the third Northeastern state to regulate gaming and gambling under a license-based regime. The state has the potential to become one of the most progressive and massive markets for the gaming industry, if the framework is inclusive. The Meghalaya event, focuses on subjects pertaining to the online gaming industry: regulations, legalities, future of the industry etc. through domain experts from the bureaucracy, legal, regulatory, business, social media and investor backgrounds. The event is all set , and will benefit individuals from all escorts of the industry, online gaming stakeholders, policy makers, operators, facilitators, media, investors, game developers and start-ups.
The “AIGF Knowledge Series,” AIGF said is a cohesive module to spark up conversations and create awareness about the online skill gaming landscape. The series will be held in collaboration with different states in the country to foster insightful and riveting discussions across strategic gaming themes through panel discussions, fireside chats by various domain experts from the industry and gaming ecosystem.
The two-day virtual event’s theme is “Online Gaming Conclave – Meghalaya in Focus” and will bring focus on Meghalaya and the recent regulatory framework created by the state. It will comprise a series of panel discussions on relevant themes and subjects pertaining to the online gaming industry and will feature domain experts from the bureaucracy, legal, regulatory, business, digital marketing, advertising and investor backgrounds. The event will be beneficial for Online Gaming Stakeholders, Policy Makers, Operators, Facilitators, Investors, Game Developers and Start-ups. The remote event will be accessible 48 hours for 2 days.
